ADL is a global leader in exposing extremism, delivering anti-bias education and fighting hate online. ADL’s ultimate goal is a world in which no group or individual suffers from bias, discrimination or hate.
Grant
Purpose: To support the ADL / For Good capitalization campaign, naming the inaugural Laurie M. Tisch Education Director, New York/New Jersey.
This work includes combating hate crimes and bullying, advocating for immigration reform and refugee rights, advancing LGBTQ rights, safeguarding the right to vote and promoting racial justice.
Impact
The Laurie M. Tisch Education Director, New York/New Jersey serves the largest public school district in the US. Each year, thousands of pre-K through 12 students, educators, and family members are empowered with the resources, tools, and trainings to recognize and combat hate, embrace diversity, and respect differences.
